What is an SRF?

Supported Residential Facility (SRF) offer permanent accommodation for people living with a disability or mental health challenges. SRFs offer low-care assistance, enabling individuals to lead fulfilling lives in a comfortable home-like setting.

  • To live at Gawler Supportive Care you will need to meet the following criteria:

    1. You must be receiving a Disability Support Pension (DSP) or Aged Pension.

    2. You must be a participant in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

    3. You must be over 21 years old.

    4. Complete the referral pack (we will send you all the documents required).

    5. Acceptance is based on a risk assessment conducted

    1. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy, strictly prohibiting the presence or use of drugs, drug paraphernalia, and alcohol on the premises at any time.

    2. Noise is to be kept at a level which will not interfere with fellow resident’s

    3. Smoking inside is prohibited, designated smoking areas are provided.

    4. All residents deserve to be treated with the highest level of respect and courtesy. Any acts of violence, disruptive behavior, or verbal abuse are not tolerated.
